About Fieldquests

We’re a brother-and-sister team who both homeschool our children. Fieldquests grew from our shared belief that some of the best learning happens through community, curiosity, and real experiences.

How It Started

One of us runs a local homeschool group and sees firsthand how much families value learning together. The other is always on an adventure with his kids, following their curiosity and finding new ways to experience the world.

Those experiences kept leading us back to the same idea: families should have an easier way to find people who can teach something meaningful in person.

Why We Built It

Homeschool opportunities are often buried in social media groups and feeds. At the same time, we’ve watched more homeschool families step away from social media altogether.

We’ve also seen more and more classes move online. Virtual learning can be useful, but it cannot replace working with your hands, learning alongside other people, and building real relationships in your own community. We wanted to make local, in-person experiences easier to find so those tactile connections do not get lost.

Families shouldn’t need a social media account, or have to rely on an algorithm to discover a great class. Fieldquests is our way of creating a dedicated place for hands-on, in-person learning and the people who make it possible.

Every Skill Starts With a Quest.

We hope Fieldquests helps more families follow their curiosity and find experiences their children will remember.
