Teacher Standards and Eligibility

Basic Eligibility
Teachers must be adults, complete required profile and screening steps, pay NCSI $23 directly for the initial advanced background check and pay any disclosed fee for a required renewal, provide accurate information, agree to Fieldquests policies, and remain legally eligible to provide the offered activity.
Independent Provider Status
Teachers independently create, control, and deliver their classes. A teacher is not a Fieldquests employee, agent, school, or representative and may not claim that Fieldquests approval, screening, or a badge is an endorsement or guarantee. Marketplace requirements do not transfer responsibility for class delivery to Fieldquests.
Business and Legal Responsibilities
Teachers are responsible for applicable licenses, permits, business registrations, taxes, insurance, venue permission, equipment, accessibility obligations, and compliance with laws relevant to the activity and location. The approved teacher named on the listing must personally provide the instruction and promised supervision; assistants, substitutes, and transfers of the class to another adult are not permitted. Teachers must determine which requirements apply to their own circumstances.
Accurate Listings
Describe the activity, instructor, ages, prerequisites, schedule, capacity, price, materials, known hazards, supervision, accessibility, and location accurately. Communicate material changes promptly through Fieldquests and do not promise an outcome that cannot reasonably be supported.
Class Safety and Emergencies
Maintain an age-appropriate class plan, safe venue and equipment, accurate attendance and release records, appropriate adult-to-child ratios, and a reasonable emergency plan. Follow disclosed health, allergy, accessibility, pickup, and guardian instructions within your role and training. Fieldquests is not onsite and cannot provide real-time supervision or emergency response.
Child-Safe Conduct
Follow the Adult Code of Conduct, maintain observable and appropriate boundaries, use adult-to-adult communication, honor guardian instructions, and report safety concerns as required.
Payments and Records
Use Fieldquests’ booking and payment flow for Fieldquests-discovered classes, record attendance accurately, cooperate with legitimate refunds or disputes, and do not manipulate capacity, reviews, fees, or transaction records.
Loss of Eligibility
Fieldquests may pause or remove teaching access for expired requirements, material misrepresentation, unsafe conduct, policy violations, unresolved payment risk, or other circumstances that make continued marketplace access inappropriate.
